  1. In D2L, click on Content in the course navigation bar.
  2. Select the module you wish to add a description.
  3.  Click Add a description.
    Select Add a Description
  4. The HTML editor will open for you to type. There are tools where you can add images, links, and video. You may also change the font and check your spelling.
    Enter your information in the text editor
  5. Click Update.
  6. If you need to add a description to a submodule, click on the dropdown caret on any sub-module.
    Click the dropdown carat next to the item
  7. Select Edit Properties In-Place.
    Select Edit Properties in Place
  8. Click Add a description.
  9. The HTML editor will open for you to type.
  10. Click Update.
